ABOUT 7 DEGREES BRASSBAND

In September of 2019, a young man by the name of Theo DiBiasi wanted a band to play at his house on Halloween. He recruited 6 other members of the North Allegheny Marching Band to join the band and play songs from The Lucky Chops. Following their initial Halloween performance, the band gained traction on social media and decided to stay together to work on original arrangements and compositions and play local concerts. After half a decade of playing with various lineups of members, 7 Degrees is still playing live and releasing music to this day.

"The name 7 Degrees came about because in our marching band, we are told to keep our horns 15 degrees above parallel. This would have been our name, but there are seven of us, so we coined the name 7 Degrees" says trombonist, Logan Henderson.
